Team

Simon Yearron - Managing Director

Simon runs the UK office and splits his time between the UK and Indonesia. He shares most of the responsibilities for the day-to-day running the business with David Clark. With over 25 years of experience in financial markets Simon provides valuable input on investment concepts and strategies for the various projects undertaken and is in the front line when setting up marketing strategies for asset managers, investment banks and fund companies.

He began his career in the City of London in the early 1980’s working in equity and derivative markets before moving to Asia in 1998 to take on new challenges.

David Clark - Senior Partner

Primarily concerned with running the business operations in Jakarta David also concentrates on developing the product distribution business. He has built a wide range of contacts across Indonesia particularly in the Oil & Gas and Mining sectors which Haven can draw upon when specific expertise is required. He is also a prime exponent of database marketing.

He ran a very successful computer business which started in the late 1980’s. David sold the business in the mid 1990’s and moved to Asia to explore a wide range of opportunities.

Mark Murray

Mark's skills are in economic and financial analysis of operating records to present a clear picture of a company’s financial health to potential investors. He provides input into feasibility studies and is responsible for the financial modelling to assess the viability of projects.

He has worked in Indonesia since ‘93 and has been the Chief Financial Officer for Multinational and Local company’s in Indonesia, Served on audit committees for various public companies and held numerous Financial Advisory and consulting positions in Indonesia. Mark has worked in the Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing, IT, Biotechnology, Aquaculture and Marine Transportation Industries.

David Henderson

Having studied economics with a major in marketing David provides additional perspective and valued input on team projects. He has been based in Indonesia since the mid 1990’s and has been involved with the marketing of a number of leading businesses in Asia ever since. He also lectures at the Monash University in Jakarta.

Scott Devlin

Scott is a specialist in the Oil and Gas industry both on and offshore and has a wealth of experience dealing with the major players in the industry. Scott has an engineering degree and has worked on developing many offshore operations, before bringing his wisdom and experience to his Associate role in the Haven Group. He is working to expand out Middle East operations in his capacity as Director of Operations in Haven Distribution.

Jeremy Yearron

Jeremy is a specialist IT Engineer. From Greenscreen mainframes, through client server to rich client web apps, Jeremy has worked on developing business systems, since the dawn of the desktop PC. He worked with a number of global financial sector companies, before bringing his wisdom and experience to his Associate role at Haven.

Bryan Thompson

Bryan has 45 years experience in the engineering industry. His main activity has been in management, development, marketing, sales and after sales services of power generation, oil & gas, construction, industrial and marine equipment. He has experience in a wide scope of engineering disciplines. Bryan has worked throughout: Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and United Kingdom on projects totalling in excess of US$250 million.
